George Dailey of CMCH, NJ., and Kristin McHenry of Phila., PA., took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III

this week. George with a 3lb Fluke, and Kristin with a 1.5lb Blue.  CONGRATULATIONS!

Tough week for the SEA STAR III this week. Weather kept the fleet in for most of the week. The couple of trips we did make it out, action was slow and the waters were definitely stirred up. Anyhow,

Last Call for Fluke!!! This coming week is it for Fluke in 2018. By the time I post the next Fishing Report Fluke season will be concluded and we will probably fish for small Blues for a couple of weeks while awaiting the October 8th Sea Bass Opener. Hopefully the weather this week will let us finish the Fluke season strong and I hope you all will join us for another try. The SEA STAR III will continue to sail DAILY at 9am weather and people permitting until sometime in December. I hope to have more for you next week. Thanks for checking in.....

More Bluefish this week on the SEA STAR III but as of today, we are done with that! Now on to Sea Bass as the NJ Fall season Opener is TOMORROW! Fishing the Blues is FUN and productive and is a perfect bridge between Fluke and Sea Bass seasons although not very popular with anglers. I hope to see many more of you for the Sea Bass season and with those maybe some Triggerfish, Porgy, and Blackfish too! Tomorrow this is all possible and we will fish the wrecks and reefs once again DAILY at 9am until sometime in November. Come join us for one of our most popular Fall fisheries in hopes of taking home some of that "Black Gold" Here are a few more photos from this week's Bluefish action. Thanks for checking in....

Well folks, Fluke season is over! The SEA STAR III finished out the season as strong as we could have with the weather against us. A near miss on our progressive pool, a 5.55 lb flatfish with just minutes left in our trip, on the last day of the Fluke season added some excitement. The SEA STAR III will continue to sail DAILY at 9am, weather and people permitting, for Blues, Weakfish, Kingfish, and Croaker until the Sea Bass season Opener on October 8th. We still have plenty of fishing left in our 2018 campaign so don't give up! Keep those rods ready! Fall is one of my favorite times to fish and I hope you all will join us for a  beautiful day on the water regardless of what we fish for. I want to thank ALL who participated in these reports by posing for our camera this summer and I hope everyone had almost as much fun viewing these reports as we did making them! As always, I will again leave you with some more photos from this week's action. Thanks for checking in.....

The SEA STAR III sat at the dock all week due to poor weather and lack of people. We did sail both trips this weekend and action was HOT! Bluefish from .5lb to 1.75lbs were filling the buckets and 15 fish limits were common. A couple of Weakfish were also taken. The SEA STAR III will continue to fish for Blues until the Sea Bass Opener on October 8th. If your looking for action the Blues are biting!!! I hope you'll join us for a nice Fall day on the water and get in on that action.  Here are a few more photos from this weekend's action. Thanks for checking in.......
