FISHING REPORTS

Fishing Report for the week of November 18 - 24, 2019.

Gary Agness of Wildwood Crest, NJ., and Andrew Thomas of Cape May, NJ., both took pools this

week on the SEA STAR III. These Blackfish weighed in at 3.25lb, and 4.80lbs respectively.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Catching some Blackfish on the SEA STAR III this week. Only fished a couple of trips due to weather and or lack of interest but when we did get out we found some Blackfish at the reefs. Some Keepers and even more shorts each trip. Hopefully this action continues to improve as the water cools off even more. If you are looking to fish some more before the long winters rest, get to the SEA STAR III soon! Happy Thanksgiving to ALL of you! The SEA STAR III will only continue our daily schedule for a couple more weeks and may just begin our winter maintenance early if the weather and turnout doesn't improve. Here are a few more photos from this week's action. Thanks for checking in...

6 Hr. Deep Sea Fishing Charters

This week the Sea Bass action started out pretty good with keepers and shorts, Triggerfish, and a few small Blues. The end of the week was a different story. Dogfish have invaded the area and the reef only produced a few fish this weekend. Anyhow, the SEA STAR III will continue to fish the wrecks and reefs looking for Sea Bass until Blackfish opens this Saturday November 16th and hopefully they can add some excitement to our trips. Stripers are still a "NO SHOW" for us in Cape May, Hopefully soon!

That's the report! I'll again leave you with some more photos from this week's action. Thanks for checking in.....

The weather this week went from Fall to Winter Quickly! High winds and bitter cold kept us in most of the week. The Sea Bass action was slow and very few Keepers. The Dogfish have invaded all inshore spots so we are now going to target Blackfish full time unless the Stripers decide to grace us with their presence. Blackfish will also be the target species on our Special Thanksgiving trip(6am - Noon). I know this is different from our usual Striper trip but there have been No consistent reports of Stripers off Cape May within the three mile limit. That said, the SEA STAR III will fish Blackfish on Thanksgiving Day 6am - Noon. I hope you all will join us for a late season trip before we end our 2019 campaign and give the SEA STAR III a long winter's rest! Here are a couple of pics from this week's trip and we hope to have more for you next week. Thanks for checking in......

This week the SEA STAR III wrapped up our 2019 season with some more Blackfish. Action was fair to good and we had some Keepers on each trip as well. As you can tell it was yet another two trip week and both of those was with just enough people to sail, so it was the right time to call it a year! I sure hope that since our Fall and Winter turnout was slow that all of you will be even more anxious to get out on the water with us next Spring!!! THANK YOU ALL for ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON! As I type this, I already find myself looking forward to next season. I want to wish all of you a Safe and Healthy Winter, A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year! I want to leave you with this thought:

You are ALL a part of this thing, this culture, that we have built together on the SEA STAR III and I want you ALL to know that I appreciate each and every one of you for your support. I couldn't have accomplished any of this without YOU! I am truly BLESSED and I am VERY PROUD that YOU ALL choose the SEA STAR III !!!

THANK YOU and SEE You in the SPRING!!!

SEA STAR III

Poor weather and lack of interest are again to blame for the SEA STAR III only making two trips this week.

That being said, This coming week will be our last week of 2019! So, if you are looking for Blackfish or you just want to get out one more time this year, this is LAST CALL for 2019! The action for Blackfish has been slow but consistent with Keepers and even more shorts each trip. As we wrap up our 2019 campaign, I hope to see All of you again soon, and remind you that SEA STAR III Gift Cards are Available NOW and make the PERFECT GIFT for the fishermen on your list!
