6 Hour Fishing in Cape May, NJ.
SEA STAR III     * 2013 *

Report for the week of June 10 - 16.
Michael Tomczyk of Collegeville, PA., Bob Miller of Phila, PA., and
Mike Morris of Cressona, PA., all won Pools with Fluke aboard the
SEA STAR III this week. These fish weighed in at 3lb, 3.5lb, and 4lbs
respectively.   CONGRATULATIONS!!   NICE FLUKE!!!!

Another week of weather woes, unfortunately. The SEA STAR III fished the
Delaware Bay on the trips we made. Action was good, but the fish were
small! Variety was GREAT, but they were small! Our catch included Fluke,
Weakfish, Croakers, Kingfish, Blues, Spotted Hake, Spot, and Blowfish!
I may have even forgot a few species! A few Fluke were keepers like the
ones above. The other fish kept the anglers busy and put some more
fish in the buckets. I again will leave you with a few photos from this
week's trips.   Thanks for checking in......
             HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!

Paul Bodkin of Cape May, NJ., Hank Jones of Audubon, NJ.,
Brian Cash of Phila, PA., and Mark Scirrotto of Freeland, PA., all

on our PRIME TIME Drumfish Trip with a 48lb Drum, and Finally Mark with
a 2lb Kingfish.                   CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The SEA STAR III spent most of this week in the Delaware Bay. The action
was good most days with a VERY mixed bag including Fluke, Weakfish,
Croakers, Kingfish, Drumfish, and even Blowfish! There were more small
fish than big ones, but we had fun catching them anyway. The plan is to
keep working the Bay, as long as weather allows, and take what it gives us.
As summer approaches, and things heat up, I hope to see all of you back
on the SEA STAR III soon. I also want to thank all of you who fished our
Prime Time Drumfish Trips for making this season another GREAT SUCCESS!
And as always I will leave you with more photos of this week's action.
Thanks for checking in.....

Report for the week of May 20 - 25.
Luis Mercado of Wildwood, NJ., Gaurav Kapur of Norwich England.,
Dom Martino of West Grove, PA., and Tim Wilson of Cape May, NJ.,  all
took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. Luis and Gaurav won with
Sea Bass 4lb and 3lbs respectively, Dom won with a 3lb Ling, and finally
Tim won on a night charter with a 56lb Drumfish. CONGRATULATIONS!

The reef produced some nice Sea Bass, Ling, and even Fluke early this week.
The Drumfish bite couldn't get any hotter with fish to 80lbs!!! This came to
a screeching halt with gale force winds for Memorial Day weekend. I hope
things will get back to normal by Monday(Memorial Day). This week's PrimeTime
Drumfish trip was rescheduled for Sunday Night that is why I am doing this report
a full day early. So far this season the weather has been a constant adversary,
but through all of this the SEA STAR III is still doing our thing and making the
most of a tough start. I will again leave you with more photos of the week's
action. Thank you to all who participated in this week's report by posing for our cameras and Thanks for checking in.

Report for the week of May 13 - 19.
Frank Lavelle of Jersey City, NJ., Frank Servocky of Drexel Hill, PA.,
Jose Velez of Phila, PA., and Brian Rozzelle of Bellmawr, NJ., all took
Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. Brian took his Pool on our
Prime Time Drumfish Trip with a 66lb Drumfish!   WOW!!!!

Kingfish like these were caught in the Bay with some Drumfish. The much
anticipated "Opening Day" of Fluke was disappointing, with South winds
and cloudy skies it was again like March not May! Under sized fish were
the story this Opening Weekend. Fluke, Weakfish, Sea Bass, and some
others were caught and released. The water temperature is now 62 degrees.
Sea Bass are also now in season, so the SEA STAR III could target either
Fluke or Sea Bass as the weather dictates.  Thanks for checking in.
Report for the week of May 6 - 12.
Pete Reichert of Lansdale, PA., and Richie Rhue of Queens, NY., both
took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III with Drumfish this week. These fish
weighed in at 30lbs and 21lbs respectively.

This week the weather was a little more cooperative towards the end of the
week and the SEA STAR III found a few Drumfish. These Drum were quiet
by day, but sure let us know they were there on our Saturday Night Trip!
The bite was still slow but we heard them all night long. The SEA STAR III
will target these Drumfish for the rest of this coming week, day and Saturday
Night, but will fish for Fluke on Opening Day (Saturday May 18th). I hope to
have more action this week and a few more trips. The weather is still not
feeling like summer, but we hope it will soon, with more and better fishing to
follow.  Thanks for checking in.

Report for the week of April 29 - May 5.
Sorry Gang, Not much of a report for this week. The SEA STAR III only
sailed a few trips and when we did the North East winds were strong and
gusty. With Taug season now closed, when the Stripers or Drumfish did not
cooperate, we could only accept our fate. The water temperature actually
went down!!! Now at 55 degrees in the Bay, the fish are showing us their
disapproval with the cold water. Some smiles were made when a couple of
youngsters caught some large Sand Sharks. One can only laugh and say
I wish everyone were so easy to please. I'm sure better days are coming.
Thanks for checking in.

Report for the week of April 22 - 28.
Ryan Bolz of Morrisville, PA., and Tom Roseberry of Severn, MD., won
pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. Ryan with a 5lb. Taug, and
Tom with a 20lb Drumfish.   WOW!!!      CONGRATULATIONS!!!

The Bay is warming up. A few Taug and some early season Drumfish bent the rods this week. Water temps are climbing and Drumfish are becoming more
abundant. The SEA STAR III will be sailing Daily trips to the Bay for Drum
and also have our Special PRIME TIME DRUMFISH trips every Saturday night
4PM - 10PM. Opening Day of Fluke is May 18, at which time we will start
fishing for Fluke by day and Drumfish only on Saturday nights. I hope you all
get caught up on your yard work and other spring time chores because the
fishing season is underway and we need YOU to be a part of these reports!
Here are a few more photos from this week's action, Thanks for checking in.

Report for the week of April 15 - 21.
Don Dokulil of Villas, NJ took a pool aboard the SEA STAR III this week
with a 6lb Taug. (Blackfish)    CONGRATULATIONS!

The SEA STAR III remains trying to sail DAILY 9AM - 3PM. Some Drumfish
are starting to be caught in the Delaware Bay and an occasional Striper,
while the ocean is producing a lot of throw back Taug and some nice Taug
like the one seen here. We are letting the weather decide where to fish and
for what. It is difficult to put together a report from just a trip or two during
the week, but I'm doing the best I can to do just that. I would like to mention
that the SEA STAR III is starting our "PRIME TIME DRUMFISHING" Trips
on Saturday April 27th 4PM - 10PM. and EVERY Saturday after until June 1,
and as in past seasons reservations and deposits are REQUIRED. Seating is still STRICTLY Limited to ONLY 25 passengers. NO CROWDS! Please call
(609) 884-3421 for reservations or more info. Some dates may sell out very
quickly, so don't delay call NOW for your seats. Again I will leave you with
photos of the week's action.  Thanks for checking in.

Report for the week of April 8 - 14.
Dawn Peacock of Conshohoken, PA  took a pool aboard the
SEA STAR III
with a 4lb. Taug. (Blackfish)    CONGRATULATIONS!

The SEA STAR III only fished a couple of trips this week and when we
did the Striper fishing was slow. With the Stripers being Uncooperative,
we decided to check out a snag and found some Blackfish like this one!
The SEA STAR III will continue to sail DAILY at 9 AM and we will take what
the Bay or Ocean will give us. I can't say we've given up on Stripers, but
until that bite improves we may fish for some Blackfish in the mean time.
As I did in seasons past, I will again leave you with more photos of this
week's  action.  Thanks for checking in.

Report for the weeks of March 23 - April 7.
The cold and wind still have a hold on Cape May. Water temperature is only 43 degrees. In the last 2 weeks of trying to sail daily the SEA STAR III has only sailed a few trips and caught only throwback Striped Bass. The weather is supposed to break and temperatures are going to rise, so we hope that the fishing will improve dramatically in the near future. One lucky angler started his season just a few inches short, but was happy to pose with his catch anyway.
Welcome Back to our weekly reports. I hope you will join us and be a part of our next report or one soon to follow. Thanks for checking in.

SAILING DAILY STARTING FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 2013 at 9AM

Report for the week of Dec. 24 - 30
THANK YOU ALL for a Very Successful 2012 Season!
As it turns out, the SEA STAR III made it's final trip of 2012 last week. The weather turned cold and windy, as December does, and kept us at the dock all this week. I want to wish a VERY SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you out there. I will again begin our winter maintenance schedule so I can  have the
SEA STAR III in tip-top shape for the Spring of 2013! I hope to see all of you then. After a few months away from the water and the fish who reside there, if
you are anything like me, I am already anxious for the first bite of 2013!
Thanks Again, Stay Safe and Healthy, and we'll see you in the Spring!!!

Report for the week of Dec. 17 - 23.
Vic Rodgers of Somers Point, NJ took the pool on the one trip we were able to make it out this week. This fish weighed in at 10lbs. Congratulations!

Threats of rain early, and Strong winds to end the week, left the SEA STAR III at the dock all but one trip this week. The action was good, but not much in the way of Keepers.  I want to thank ALL of you for a WONDERFUL 2012 season, and a special thanks to those of you who participated in our weekly fishing reports. This coming week will be our last attempt of 2012. I hope to have one more fishing report for you this season. If you can't make our last week, I hope to see all of you again in 2013! weather was cooperative and the fish started to bite! Although most fish were short, the guys had a good time catching them and as seen above, there were some NICE  ones also!!! The 2012 season is fading fast, so if you want a Striper this fall you had better get here soon! The SEA STAR III will sail DAILY,

any milder. There are Stripers in the RIPS and in the Delaware Bay. This week
there were more shorts than keepers for the SEA STAR III but as you all know,
that can change any time. With only a few weeks left in 2012, I hope to see
you soon. As always, I will again leave you with more photos from this week.
Thanks for checking in.
